Latest News We win ‘Best Integrated Home – Level 111’ at the CEDIA awards

Doubling down on last year’s effort, Len Wallis Audio has done it again received the award for the ‘Best Integrated Home – Level 111’ at the CEDIA awards for the Asia Pacific Region for 2020.

Len Wallis Audio picked up the CEDIA  ‘Best Integrated Home, Level 111’ award on the 8th of October, 2020. For those not familiar, CEDIA or Custom Electronics Design and Installation Association is the international trade association representing the professional home automation/smart home technology industry AND is the industry’s only certifying body.
Biggest of congratulations must go all the hard work put in by our senior Custom Consultant, Jono Dorset who conceived & lead the project and the entire team at Len Wallis Audio who was involved.

There was also special mention made of the fact that Len Wallis Audio has picked up more CEDIA awards than anyone else on the Asia Pacific region!

This cutting edge seaside smart home integration masterpiece features nine (9) zones of Meridian Audio, Lutron lighting control with Savant automation controlling all electrical sub systems, including CCTV, HVAC, Access, & Pool Control all integrated within the Savant Pro app. This was a particularly complex installation over multiple months with many levels of automation across numerous technologies, and involved design, draftsman, programming, project management and installation staff.

The complexities in the Custom installation industry, particularly at the top end of the market, are significant. The biggest challenge that we face when commencing a new project is that it is unique. Although certain standards always apply and we bring our considerable experience to the table, no two installations are the same. For Len Wallis Audio every project we undertake starts with a blank sheet, and every solution is tailored to the individual!

The possible combination of brands and products across the various audio, visual, lighting, air conditioning/heating, motorised blinds and security is ever changing. Moreover the requirements to allow those systems to work in harmony is immense. This is compounded by the fact that almost every building is different in terms of construction and design. Finally, and most importantly, every client has their own set of desires and expectations. While it is expected that every job would turn out perfectly, there is always a great sense of accomplishment for those involved, when a project such as this comes together as expertly as this!
