The subwoofer uses a 12-inch driver housed in a 13.5-inch cube enclosure, which is constructed with ¾” MDF for durability. The cabinet is sealed, which contributes to the subwoofer’s ability to produce accurate, low-distortion bass.

• Driver: The HRS12 includes a front-firing, extra-long-throw 12-inch woofer. This design allows for significant air displacement, essential for deep bass reproduction. The driver uses a polymer treated paper cone with a treated foam surround, enhancing its long excursion capabilities.
• Amplifier: It is powered by a 1,000-watt RMS amplifier, employing Sunfire’s exclusive Tracking Downconverter™ power supply for efficient power delivery and cool operation. This amplifier technology helps in providing high current levels, ensuring control over the woofer’s movement.
• Frequency Filtration Design (FFD): Sunfire’s proprietary FFD technology is used to tailor the subwoofer’s frequency response for improved accuracy and depth, particularly at low frequencies.
