The Whatmough Performance  Floor Standing Speakers are designed to deliver an exceptional audio experience across a wide range of applications. Whether for home cinema or high-end stereo systems, these speakers provide a perfect blend of power and refinement.

Drivers Features a 35mm dual concentric diaphragm with a wave guide center plug, offering a silky smooth and extended response beyond 40kHz, a full octave above most conventional dome tweeters. The mid/bass driver boasts a 33mm high-temperature voice coil and a large double magnet system, ensuring robust and clear sound.

Crossover Network Expertly crafted crossover networks are essential for a smooth transition between speaker drivers. The Performance Series utilizes premium quality capacitors of polypropylene film in a non-magnetic case with pure copper soldered lead-out wires. Each crossover is point-to-point hard-wired, a labor-intensive but necessary process for achieving the highest quality sound. Superior circuit topology, large air-cored coils, and high-quality cable and solder all contribute to the excellent sound reproduction.

Bi-wire Capability To achieve optimal performance, the speakers are designed to be bi-wired. Whatmough does not recommend any bridging applications to maintain the integrity of the sound quality.

Configuration This 2-way bass reflex enclosure uses a 170mm hybrid fiber coned long elbow bass mid driver and a 35mm dual concentric tweeter with a wave guide center plug.
