The A1 Automat: Precision Meets Automation

  • Fully Automatic Start/Stop: The A1 features a fully automatic mechanism that engages at the start, precisely placing the tonearm on the record’s lead-in groove. Once the record begins to play, the automatics disengage, ensuring they have no influence on the playback quality.
  • ULM Aluminium Tonearm with Ortofon OM10 Cartridge: The 8.3” ultra-light-mass aluminium tonearm, paired with the Ortofon OM10 cartridge, delivers fast response and detailed transients and microdynamics. The tracking force and anti-skating are pre-adjusted, offering a plug-and-play setup suitable for both vinyl beginners and seasoned audiophiles.
  • Carbon Fibre Reinforced Headshell: Crafted from carbon fibre reinforced polymer, the headshell is exceptionally stable and rigid, yet incredibly lightweight, optimizing internal damping of resonances.
  • Heavy Wood Chassis: Designed to minimize hollow spaces, the heavy chassis of the A1 significantly reduces unwanted resonances, enhancing the overall sound quality.
  • Precision Balanced Aluminium Damped Platter: The platter features an internal damping ring, adding weight and reducing resonances for optimal balance and minimal wow and flutter deviations.
  • Connect it E – Semi-balanced RCA Cable: The high-quality, semi-balanced, low-capacitance phono RCA cable ensures an excellent connection to your amplifier.
  • Built-in Switchable Phono Preamp: The A1 includes a built-in phono preamp for setups without an external preamplifier, with the option to switch it off if desired.
  • 33/45 RPM Compatibility: Easily switch between LPs and singles without changing the belt position, thanks to the single-button speed control.
