For decades Ken Ishiwata was the face of Marantz, and for many the most recognisable face of the industry.
His ability to coax the best out of any product was legendary. It was a given that any Marantz component bearing his signature was going to be something special.
As many of you are aware Ken passed away late last year.
The last product that was released under Kens personal guidance was the PMKI Ruby integrated amplifier and the matching SAKI Ruby CD player. Both components offer very high performance and are meticulously built – as we have come to expect. They sold for $8,490 each.
The range is about to come to an end – and this marks the end of an era. Determined to go out with a bang the local distributors have decided to announce a special price on remaining stock. While stock lasts both KI models have been reduced to $4,995 each.
This is exceptional good buying, and obviously one that will not be repeated.
