Earlier this month I was fortunate to attend the Hi-End Audio Show in Munich.
This is the greatest gathering of high-quality audio on the planet – it takes at least three days to get around all the exhibits.
One thing that the show reinforced is that the future of recorded music is streaming. While vinyl was everywhere, most exhibitors were using streaming as their source of choice – and in most instances the results were superb.
CD was missing in action!
Many of you would be aware that at LWA we are big fans of the Linn LP12 turntable in its various forms. Linn also manufactures some of the best music streaming devices around, and we are pleased to announce that we have now added four models to our shelves, ranging in price from $4,000 to $35,000.
First introduced in 2007, Linn’s range of network streamers have been gone through a continuous cycle of innovation and have acquired a long list of awards and recognition of excellence from the industry. Decades ago Linn demonstrated to the world that there are some very real differences in the performance of turntables, they are now showing that the same applies to music streamers.
Like the LP12 turntable there are variations on each model, and who best to launch the range in-store, and demonstrate and explain the variations, than Craig Black, the business manager from Linn in Glasgow. Craig, plus representatives from the local distribution company, will be hosting an evening in-store on Monday the 3rd of June, commencing at 6.30pm.
If you are looking to enter the world of Digital Audio for the first time, or if you are an experienced user looking for something better, this would be a great opportunity to explore what one of the premium music streaming companies has to offer.
We are anticipating that this will be a very popular event, so it will be necessary to register for the evening.
