Marantz MM7055 5 Channel Power Amplifier offers multi-channel rich, immersive and powerful, 5 x 140 Watts at 8Ω, sound. And features advance Amplifier Technology including Current Feedback Circuitry, Linear Drive Power Supply and High-Performance power supply to deliver controlled and precise sound.
Marantz MM7055 Multichannel Main Amplifier is the five-channel option in this year’s extended line-up of main amplifiers. Based on the technology used in the MM8003 and using the exact same chassis, it delivers a thumping 140 Watts RMS into 8 ohms to each of the channels, while the ultra-wide bandwidth current feedback technology easily handles the highest SACD frequencies – this also makes it ideal for the high definition DTS Master Audio and Dolby TrueHD formats too. The result? Totally precise tonal and image balance, speed and dynamics. And on top of all that, you also get XLR audio inputs, DC triggers and a Marantz control bus system for remote on/off. This is power and convenience to take your breath away.
Current feedback discrete power amp
This is equipped with a current feedback power amp that uses the complementary push-pull circuit used in the SM-11S1 Marantz Hi-Fi power amp. This amp provides increased operating stability, and high-speed, wide-ranging high-density playback.
The current/voltage conversion amplification section in the latter part of the power amp is equipped with a Wilson current mirror circuit that amplifies to the high sound range with low distortion.
Improved instant power supply capability
The final stage of the power amp is equipped with the same LAPT (high-efficiency power transistor) that is installed in the SM-11S1 Marantz Hi-Fi power amp, providing improved instant power supply capability.
The power section is equipped with a large-sized transformer. As one of the essential parts of the power section, this unit is equipped with Marantz original 33,000 μF / 71 V×2 (MM7055), and 15,000 μF / 71 V×2 (MM7025) block condensers, which have been repeatedly tested for sound quality. These improvements to the power supply capability provide a powerful, presence-filled sound.
Other Functions
Equipped with IR flash input that supports custom installations, and DC trigger input and output terminals.
High sound quality design based on pure surround philosophy
Equipped with a chimney-shaped heat sink to efficiently process the heat emitted from each channel amp and exceptionally quiet cooling fans. A high-sensitivity temperature sensor IC is used to control the cooling fans, adjusting the rotation speed to match the amount of heat generated by the amp. These components provide the sound quality and low-noise you would expect at a high-end theatre. In addition, this unit is designed for superb quality sound and is equipped with high-quality components such as a high-end audio condenser and film condenser throughout.
BALANCED/UNBALANCED selecting function
Depending on the desired use, input for each channel can be selected between BALANCED input and UNBALANCED input.
Remote Power Control
This unit is equipped with a remote power control function. When a Marantz AV Pre-tuner AV8003 or AV7005 is connected to this unit, this unit’s power can be switched ON/OFF together with the AV8003 or AV7005 power supply. Connection to the AV8003 or AV7005 is a ground floating connection that prevents negative influences on sound quality as far as possible.

Goods Damaged in Transit.
If any goods arrive damaged, please contact us as soon as possible. Len Wallis Audio will arrange to have the damaged goods returned and either arrange for a replacement of the goods or refund the price to you. Damaged goods must be returned in the condition received by you with all original packaging, accessories and/or manuals.
Refunds
Refunds will be normally be processed within five (5) days.
Delivery Charges
Where Len Wallis Audio considers the goods to have breached a consumer guarantee, any shipping costs to return the goods to Len Wallis Audio will be at our cost.
Returns and Repairs.
You may visit Len Wallis Audio and a staff member will assist you with any return or repair. This may include inspecting the goods, arranging for the goods to be repaired, or providing you with a replacement.
Goods must be returned within a reasonable time.
If any goods cannot be easily returned to us due to their size, the fault or because they have been affixed or installed in your premises, please contact us and we will arrange an inspection to assess the goods.
Goods returned for repair will be assessed and/or repaired within a reasonable time. You may be provided with an indicative repair time, which time may vary due to reasons beyond ours or the repairer’s reasonable control, such as part availability and incorrect fault description.
You may be required to pay labour, assessment and/or freight fees, such as where goods are assessed to have been damaged by misuse or accident, or where your rights under the Australian Consumer Law or any manufacturer’s warranty do not apply. We may provide you with an indicative fee, which may vary due to reasons beyond our control.
If any goods that you return are capable of retaining user generated data such as files stored on a hard drive, and songs stored on a portable media player, the replacement or repair of the goods may result in loss of the data. In these circumstances, we recommend you back up data to prevent data loss, and remove sensitive or confidential data, as a party assessing and/or repairing your goods may be required to view data in the course of carrying out the assessment. We will not be responsible for any data loss.
In some circumstances, goods presented for repair may be replaced by refurbished goods of the same type rather than being repaired. Refurbished parts may be used to repair the goods.

We understand that sometimes you may simply change your mind about a purchase or have made a wrong selection. In these situations, you have 14 days in which to return your item for a refund, exchange or store credit. If more than 14 days has passed since your purchase we can’t offer you a refund, exchange or store credit.
To be eligible for a return, refund or store credit your item must be in the same condition that you received it. Which is to say, it must be in the original unopened packaging, and in ‘brand new’ saleable condition.
Please note that current Australian Consumer Law does not require us to offer a ‘Change of Mind’ refund. Rather Len Wallis Audio offers 14 day ‘Change of Mind Policy’ in good faith.
