The first-ever in High-End BSC (Basalt Sandwich Construction) 7” woofer is the best balance found between rigid and light-weight, with its great damping construction providing fast and smooth responses with tight bass dynamics. You will be impressed by ATALANTE 3 with its compact size but exceptional BIG sound!
Our Debut, 30+ Years of Expertise
It is our debut, from almost four decades of expertise and know-how behind many well-known flagship models among top tier brands.
ATALANTE models are designed, engineered and assembled in France. With every single detail designed from scratch and after hundreds hours of experiments, we can now bring our edging technologies and proudly present you ATALANTE, our first series at the Next-Level sound as we stated in our slogan.
Please join us, to unseal the magical moment of listening!
We believe: Sound is an Art, on top of its scientific nature. A Revival Audio product = An Art Piece of Sound.
The collaboration with the A+A COOREN DESIGN STUDIO
(Le French Design 100 Award French designers based in Paris) made this belief become a reality.
The French-Japanese fusion adds exclusive details to ATALANTE from its retro style. Your eyes will be firstly caught by the unique belt & knot design, with laser-etched Revival Audio logo. The hand-picked walnut veneer, the side logo, and the 2-piece grill.
Every details, for your enduring listening and admiring its beauty.\
Through almost four decades of experiences behind some of the world’s most renown tweeters, Daniel Emonts pushes the standard to an extraordinary level and proudly presents the 28mm (1 1/8”) soft-dome RASC tweeter with various unique technologies inside.
ASYMMETRIC DOME SUSPENSION
The asymmetrical suspension provides a more linear resonance-free guiding of the dome. This soft dome works as a piston in low frequencies (1 – 8kHz), above that, the centre of the dome stands still (at last should be, depends on the quality of the coating, both how it’s applied and the recipe)
The more higher frequencies are reproduced the less the dome itself emits sound. At very high frequencies, only the area around the voice coil (on both the dome and suspension) emits sound.
The custom shape of the suspension helps to have a better dispersion, as waves travel freely to the side
RASC COATING RECIPE
After hundreds of hours of experiment, our very own coating recipe brings perfect break-up control and the most accurate, smooth sound reproduction.
OUTPERFORMING LARGE FERRITE MAGNET SYSTEM
The large ferrite offers a high magnet force, similar to smaller neodymium magnets, but for a significantly lower cost (which helps us achieve to set a more attractive retail price). It is as well more eco-friendly using ferrite magnets.
A comfortable efficiency of 91dB is reached with this system. Also, the large mass of ferrite and the metal part absorbs more heat from the voice coil and helps for better cooling.
RASC™ 75mm MIDRANGE – INVERSED DOME SUSPENSION
The inversed suspension provides a more linear resonance-free guiding of the dome. The more higher frequencies are reproduced the less the dome itself emits sound. The custom shape of the suspension helps to have a better dispersion, as waves travel freely to the side.
ARID+ Patented Technology
The 75mm midrange works like a piston between 400Hz and 5kHz, so they are no breakup modes.
ARID+ is a special-shaped dome, where the surface has been designed with the simulation software Comsol, to avoid any resonances and to guide the waves behind the ARID to be then absorbed in the large back cavity.
Due to the lack of damping material behind the dome, high frequencies are extended and resulting in what we aim for “tonal balance”.
OUTPERFORMING LARGE FERRITE MAGNET SYSTEM
!The large ferrite offers a high magnet force, similar to smaller neodymium magnets, but for significant lower price (which helps us achieve to set a more attractive retail price). It is as well more eco-friendly using ferrite magnets.
A comfortable efficiency of 91dB is reached with this system. Also, the large mass of ferrite and the metal.
First-Ever In Hi-End – Feel The Dynamics And Precise Punches!
BSC (Basalt Sandwich Construction) woofer is definitely a Revival Audio unique and iconic (visually too) technology.
Basalt is extracted from lava stone which has never been used in Hi-End audio, with similar characteristics as glass fibre but better Young modulus.
It is also an eco-sustainable material.
The Sandwich construction consists of a specific felt applied the back of the membrane and a specialized damping glue which results in the best-possible damping.
With BSC woofer, its lightweight and rigidity with great damping provides fast and smooth response with tight bass dynamics.
