For those who want a high standard of performance combined with stylish design that avoids the “three boxes” appearance, this is a strong contender.
Elipson’s round, brushed silver metallic Music Centre and spherical “Planet L” speakers are anything but everyday in either appearance or sound quality. What makes this system exceptional is that it caters for all the modern sources of music, sounds fantastic, and costs a lot less than other “Eurostyle” brands.

The console contains the amplifier and has FM, DAB+ radio, and CD player. There are additional analogue and digital inputs on the back panel, and a “dongle” (a small transmitter that connects to the iPod) enables wireless connection of your iPhone or iPod for direct playback of music. The Planet L speakers pack plenty of punch along with lots of fine detail, and can be sat on a table or bench top, go on optional floor stands, be wall mounted, or hung from the ceiling.
